Diallyl disulfide, an active compound in garlic oil, is an orally active human squalene monooxygenase inhibitor with an IC50 of 400 μM for squalene epoxidation. Diallyl disulfide exhibits obvious anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative, antidepressant and anti-tumor activities.
体内研究：
Diallyl disulfide (40、80 mg/kg；腹腔注射；预处理 1 小时) 对 LPS 诱导的小鼠抑郁样行为具有预防作用。 Diallyl disulfide (30、60、90 mg/kg；口服灌胃；每周 3 次；30 天) 剂量依赖性地减少香烟烟雾 (CS) 诱导的白细胞浸润到气道中，并改善连续 60 天暴露于 CS 的C57BL/6 小鼠的肺组织学。 Animal Model:Male C57BL6/J mice (6-8 weeks)
Dosage:40, 80 mg/kg
Administration:IP; pre-treatment 1 h before a single LPS injection (100 μg/kg)
Result:Prevented LPS-induced increases in immobility time in the TST and FST in mice. Did not affect the locomotor activity in mice with or without LPS treatment.
