Endochin is an antimalarial agent. Endochin inhibits T.gondii with an IC50 of 0.003 nM. Endochin is also active against experimental toxoplasmosis.
体外研究：
Endochin 抑制弓形虫细胞色素 bc1 复合物对细胞色素 c 的还原，IC50 为 8.2 nM。Endochin 抑制 T. gondii 的 IC50 为 0.003 nM。Endochin (Compound 1) 抑制 Plasmodium falciparum 分离出的多重耐药 W2 和 TM90-C2B 分离株，IC50 分别为 8.59 和 46.6 nM。
