Telotristat etiprate (LX1606 Hippurate) is a novel, orally-delivered inhibitor of tryptophan hydroxylase that reduces serotonin production.
体内研究：
Telotristat ethyl (15，50，150，300 mg/kg，po，qd) 降低外周血清素含量，但不降低小鼠大脑中的血清素含量。Telotristat ethyl (200 mg/kg po，qd) 防止在 TNBS 攻击后观察到的血液中性粒细胞计数增加，在炎症性肠病小鼠模型中提供显著保护。Telotristat ethyl (200 mg/kg po，qd) 保护经组织病理学评估证实的小鼠 IBD 模型。Telotristat ethyl (15，50，150，300 mg/kg) 从空肠而不是大脑中消耗 5-HT。但 Telotristat ethyl (200 mg/kg，po) 不会耗尽小鼠的肠神经元血清素 (5-HT)，或改变组成性胃肠动力。Telotristat ethyl (200 mg/kg) 减轻三硝基苯磺酸 (TNBS) 诱导的结肠炎的严重程度。
