Oxytocin (α-Hypophamine) acetate is a pleiotropic, hypothalamic peptide known for facilitating parturition, lactation, and prosocial behaviors. Oxytocin acetate can function as a stress-coping molecule with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and protective effects especially in the face of adversity or trauma.
体内研究：
在 LMA 任务期间，大鼠核心体温适度下降。Oxytocin acetate (皮下注射；0.1 mg/kg-0.3 mg/kg；单剂量) 产生的体温过低 (0.3 mg/kg) 明显高于盐水或两种较低剂量的催产素。0.3 mg/kg Oxytocin acetate 在注射后 15-60 分钟内产生的温度降幅明显大于赋形剂，而 0.1 mg/kg Oxytocin acetate 仅在 30 分钟时间点导致略有降温。与盐水对照相比，Oxytocin acetate (0.1 mg/kg) 导致明显更多的身体嗅探和肛门生殖器嗅探。它还增加了社交互动的总时间 (71.6 s)。Animal Model:Fifty-six male Lister-hooded rats (150–200?g)
