生物活性：
Calpeptin is a potent, cell penetrating calpain inhibitor, with an ID50 of 40 nM for Calpain I in human platelets. Calpeptin is also an inhibitor of cathepsin K.
体内研究：
Calpeptin with Bleo (0.04 mg/小鼠，腹腔注射，每周 3 次，28 天) 显著抑制 NSC-125066 处理的小鼠肺组织中的胶原蛋白沉积和钙蛋白酶活性增加。Animal Model:C57BL/6 female mice (Eight-week-old).
Dosage:0.04 mg/mouse.
Administration:Intraperitoneally three times weekly for 28 days (together with Bleo).
Result:Inhibited the collagen deposition and increase of calpain activity in the NSC-125066 treated mouse lung tissues.
体外研究：
Calpeptin (0-100 nM，24 小时) 以剂量依赖性方式抑制 WI38 VA13 和 IMR90 细胞的增殖。Calpeptin (1000 pg/mL，24 小时) 抑制 IL-6 诱导的肺成纤维细胞增殖。
